Kortmann APS is situated in Hoofddorp, conveniently located just outside Amsterdam. Our strategic central location grants us swift access to major highways throughout the Netherlands. This not only strengthens our position in road transportation but also provides us with a competitive advantage in air transportation. Schiphol Airport is a mere ten-minute drive from our facility. As a result, we are able to offer competitive transport rates for both domestic and international distribution.
At the same time as the recent expansion of our depot, we have chosen to also make our building more sustainable, among other things by installing over 4,000 solar panels. Eighty percent of the generated energy is used to supply households in the surrounding area. Twenty percent is used by us for the LED lighting, the power supply throughout the building, and the climate system of the depot. As a result, the building is not only self-sufficient, but our depot is also entirely CO2-neutral
Depot Specifications
Our office is conveniently located within the same building as the depot, facilitating seamless communication among all employees. With over 9000m2 of fully climate-controlled and secure storage space, we have the capacity to accommodate large collections, while also providing excellent storage solutions for smaller requests. If desired, you can entrust the arrangement of your storage to our capable team. To ensure the safe handling of objects, custom-built racks are designed for each artwork and its corresponding packaging, ensuring adequate space for each item.
When utilizing our storage services, we employ a precise registration system that accurately records the location of each object within the storage facility. Our registration system also tracks the movement of objects entering or leaving storage, enabling us to promptly locate your artwork at any given time. Our dedicated team members will always consult with you regarding any actions related to the receipt or release of objects, guaranteeing the safety of your stored items. Additionally, you have the option to secure insurance coverage for your objects during their time in storage.
